CEPI Awards Contract Worth Up To USD$36 million to Consortium led by IDT to Develop MERS Vaccine

CEPI (the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) today announced a collaboration with IDT Biologika under which IDT will receive up to USD$36 million to advance the development and manufacture of a vaccine against Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), a zoonotic disease that is spread to humans from dromedary camels.

Europe’s most important scientific meeting on Porcine Health Management just met for the 10th time in Barcelona, Spain. More than 1,800 veterinarians from Europe and also some collegues from overseas joined the invitation from May 9th to 11th.

IDT Animal Health contributed to the meeting as Gold Sponsor and also scientifically: A total of 18 scientific contributions were presented this year. Topics covered neonatal diarrhoea, edema (oedema) disease, influenza and salmonella.
